| Dantata, Sanusi | Wembley Stadium | Originally constructed in 19th century, but now under reconstruction (in the hopes of supporting London's 2012 Olympic bid). |
| Dyer, Hilary | Alaskan Way Viaduct | Two-tiered roadway/seawall combination in the Seattle area that was originally constructed in 1950s - currently reconstruction plans are under consideration. |
| Edwards, Cody | Mackinac Bridge | Bridge spanning the Straits of Mackinac (Michigan) that was completed in 1957. |
| Elizondo, Hazel | Kansai international Airport | Airport located 5 km from the shore in Osaka Bay (Japan) - construction completed in 1994. |
| Ghniem, Farah | Jenin Refugee Camp | Following demolition (due to political conflict), a UN-led team faced the task of reconstructing this West Bank refugee camp. |
| Hopkins, Thomas | Confederation Bridge | Bridge between Prince Edward island and New Brunswick (Canada) that was completed in 1997. |
| Lan, Yun | Three Gorges Dam | Under construction in the Three Gorges Area of the Yangtze River (China), this dam is intended to provide electricity, ease of travel, and flood relief. |
| Loukaides, Evripides | Rion-Antirion Bridge | Bridge between Peloponnese and NW Greece (across the Corinth Strait) completed in 2004. |
| Lukman, Andrew | Second Avenue Subway | After being "under consideration" for much of the 20th century, the Metropolitan Transportation Authority's (New York City) plan to construct a subway line along Manhattan's East Side has finally reached the preliminary engineering phase. |
| Maciejewski, Joshua | Mackinac Bridge | Bridge spanning the Straits of Mackinac (Michigan) that was completed in 1957. |
| Montemayor, Eduardo | Rion-Antirion Bridge | Bridge between Peloponnese and NW Greece (across the Corinth Strait) completed in 2004. |
| Sanie-Hay, Yasmin | Golden Gate Bridge | Bridge connecting San Francisco with Marin County (California) that was completed in 1937. |
| Sarfati, Aaron | Alamodome | Stadium in San Antonio, TX that was completed in 2003 and intended to host both sporting and convention events. |
| Ulzen-Appiah, Ato | Carrier Dome (or a similar recreation-related facility) | This Syracuse, NY sports facility was constructed in 1980 (first domed stadium in New England) and serves as the venue for various sports and entertainment events. |
| Vulin, Ante | Long Island Park System | Started in the 1920s, the construction of a network of parks along Long Island was spearheaded by Robert Moses and is closely associated with the development of an expansive roadway network in the region. |
| Williams, Matt | Mackinac Bridge | Bridge spanning the Straits of Mackinac (Michigan) that was completed in 1957. |
| Wozniak, Thaddeus | Chicago METRA extension | Currently under consideration is a plan to extend Chicago's suburban rail to Milwaukee, thus creating the possibility for a connection between Chicago and the Milwaukee airport. |
