The Health Service Center’s (HSC) mission is to provide access to quality health care and promote wellness to Adelphi's diverse student population. The Center is committed to assisting students to independence in meeting their health needs by promoting comprehensive preventative health education and wellness programs. By meeting student’s personal health needs, the Health Services staff will enhance student learning and growth and encourage their personal, academic and career goals.
It provides emergency response to any accidents and/or injuries involving any person on the campus.
The hours of operation vary according to the academic calendar. Registered nurses are available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, during the fall and spring semesters. During the summer session and over semester breaks, nurses are available Monday through Friday, from 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM.
A Nurse Practitioner is available by appointment Monday through Friday 12:00 noon - 4:00 p.m.
