  • The Office of Housing and Conference Services (Housing Office) welcomes you to our web site. Housing Requirement and Eligibility - All first year and sophomore students are required to live on campus unless an exemption is granted by the Housing Office. Upperclass students obtain housing through a housing lottery process. Graduate students live off campus in the surrounding community. Housing accommodations include residence hall rooms, apartments, and townhouses. Residence Life - The Housing Office staff works closely with the Office of Residence Life. A residence life senior staff person manages and resides in each residence hall and apartment complex. They supervise student Resident Assistants, as well as oversee the development of educational, social, cultural and spiritual programs. A number of chaplains and faculty members also live in the residence halls, where they serve as resources to students and enhance the living/learning environment. Housing Accommodations - Residence hall rooms, apartments and townhouses are fully furnished and air-conditioned. Many services are provided for the convenience of residents. HoyaNet cable service is available in the residence halls for a small activation and monthly service fee. A cable-ready television set is required since the service utilizes no converter box. With the exception of the townhouses, all rooms are wired with one data connection per student, giving students access to the local area network and to the Internet. In addition, there are computer labs in some of the residence halls. Laundry facilities are available in each residence hall and apartment complex. Also there is a washer and dryer in each townhouse. HoyaNet telephone service in the residence halls offers the best value in local and long distance service.
