The single most important thing you can increase your chances of getting into a great school is to ace the GMAT. The test takes around 3 hours to complete, but the score will be weighted more heavily than will your 4 years of undergraduate studies. Bottom line is, if you do not have a respectable score on the test, you won't go to a top program.
